Seeing the Lord in every thing around
hearing His presence in the essence of sound
That's a high level of realization
But that should be our aspiration
Going further and further so we never forget
that love is supreme
our object is set
but yet we find
that love can be blind
when material energy
still dominates the mind
they say their way is the only way
different devotion they consider to stray
from what is real and what is not
yet the example they show is to fight a lot
we can't see who is higher along
the path of God
we're missing the song
sweetly sung because we've only just begun
but in the due course of time
we'll reach the next rung

yas tu sarvāṇi bhūtāny
ātmany evānupaśyati
sarva-bhūteṣu cātmānaṁ
tato na vijugupsate

At a certain point
love will anoint
our eyes
then we'll be wise
adore the Lord
make friends with his friends
give love to the innocent
ignore whoever contends
that the Beloved doesn't exist
or He's nothing more
than a flickering mist
the personal dismissed
but they insist
on deriding the name
but their very life force
comes from the same
so best to maintain
a degree of distance
from an envious nature
because all of a sudden
you'll find that they hate ya
too
but you
should be busy helping those
who need help the most
awakening their very self
giving the love
the highest wealth
universal brotherhood and sisterhood
for the greater good
no more fighting
just continuously righting
the wrongs made when we were in illusion
the lover and beloved's desires in fusion

yas tu sarvāṇi bhūtāny
ātmany evānupaśyati
sarva-bhūteṣu cātmānaṁ
tato na vijugupsate

The highest realization
is to see all of creation
in relation to the Lord
and to be in elation
when everyone they see
is related to you and me
from the wise man to the dog
the princess to the frog
Beyond all borders
above all lists
no atheists
agnostics
or even theists
all part and parcel of the same Supreme
knowing these material shells
they're but dreams
But at their essence everyone is the same
playing different roles in this material game
some more ignorant than others
but still they're our sisters
still they're our brothers
So a desire to help all will manifest
one who reaches this stage is considered the best
can't be imitated
must be learned from one who's there
who understands the Supersoul
dwells everywhere

yas tu sarvāṇi bhūtāny
ātmany evānupaśyati
sarva-bhūteṣu cātmānaṁ
tato na vijugupsate

We learn from the wise
the ones that come before
on the shoulders of giants
so we're lifted from the floor
hearing from a higher source
so we can set our course
mind and senses in full force
take control of the horse
with the message passed down
carefully through time
showing us the ladder
so we can start to climb
have to be careful
in case there's distortion
can slow us right down
the wise give this caution
but if we're sincere
then have no fear
we'll be guided by that person
known as the overseer
He's the real judge
and He's the real jury
so have no fear
of the fury
of those who stick to level one
as we learned there's still some higher rung
so if you've only just begun
remember, there's still a higher rung

Seeing everything
in relation to Him
both the living
and the non-moving
everything we see
is related to He
No more hating or negating
any person or thing
