about

One may aspire to live for hundreds of years if he continuously goes on working in that way, for that sort of work will not bind him to the law of karma. There is no alternative to this way for man.

lyrics

One may aspire to never retire
when you don't desire to over acquire
seek to go higher and try to revive
keep the fire of love alive
won't be bound to the law of karma
the spiritual sound becomes your armor
so much drama in the world today
but everything comes and goes away
in a flash
dust to dust ash to ash,
whats the value of paper cash
lots of zeros without the one
who should be the centre of our conception
altruism, socialism
communism, capitalism
all these isms just become prisons
when we don't see them with proper vision

kurvann eveha karmāṇi
jijīviṣec chataṁ samāḥ
evaṁ tvayi nānyatheto 'sti
na karma lipyate nare

We all want to live forever
But we put in so much endeavor
to change the weather
when there's cloudy days
but if we fly above the sky
then we see the sun blaze
feel the rays shining bright
burn away the dark dark night
an opportunity to really be free
from the greatest danger
of being a stranger
to the self
every action has reaction
dissatisfaction comes with every distraction
we develop attraction for the temporary
but to strive for inaction is unnecessary
just have to see things in their proper place
act for God
not the rat race
just have to see things in their proper place
act for God
not the rat race

kurvann eveha karmāṇi
jijīviṣec chataṁ samāḥ
evaṁ tvayi nānyatheto 'sti
na karma lipyate nare

Our civilization became expert in creation
but these things just don't have any duration
even a great spaceship has to come back down
and every King and Queen has to pass on their crown
We might advance to enhance our situation
(but) no amount of finance gives a chance at liberation
from birth, old age, disease and death,
so it's worth it to engage every single breath
singing:

Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa
Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare
Hare Rāma Hare Rāma
Rāma Rāma Hare Hare
