tāṁs te pretyābhigacchanti
ye ke cātma hano janāḥ
angels and demons
fighting and scheming
in our very own heart
is where the military art
is required
before real guns are fired
for the wrong cause
take some time to think…

a civilization that is Soul-killing
results from a nation
that is blood spilling
from man and animal
ignoring the scream
then we wonder why
we're locked into the machine
work to satisfy the stomach
doesn't the gratify the self
forced to work hard
but the wealth is spent on fixing the health
of the shell
and it feels like hell
until we break free from this spell
of illusion
that pervades everywhere
a world in despair
no hope to repair
but if we cultivate
love for the great
then we'll all be relieved
from dire straits

tāṁs te pretyābhigacchanti
ye ke cātma hano janāḥ
A duty to do
but we don't seem to care
until karma comes around
and then we say "it's not fair"
this body we're in is very rare
an opportunity to stop and stare
deep into our being
hear the wise who are seeing
where we've got to go
a solid boat but no need to row
when the wind blows
and the teacher shows
the right course
full force toward the source
but when we neglect
our intellect
let the Earth be wrecked
due to lack of respect
we forget more and more who we are
less importance on the self,
more importance on the car
but don't kill your own soul
coz you feel that you're lacking
you're already whole
just need to get back in
line with the track to the one then you've begun
to be illuminated like the path of the sun
